The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) research community came out in force for this year’s Military Health System Research Symposium, with participation throughout the full spectrum of the conference – plenary sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations, and exhibits.
“This year’s MHSRS meeting was very informative,” says Dr. Jonathan Woodson, president of USU. “The speakers were excellent, and I was extremely impressed by the breadth of the breakout session topics, many of which were presented by USU researchers.”
Woodson strolled through each of the poster sessions, engaging with USU students, faculty and researchers, along with representatives from other Federal agencies, academic institutions, and Allied partner nations.
“MHSRS provides a perfect opportunity each year to meet, network, share ideas and exchange information that may form the basis of future collaborations,” Woodson says. "I am already looking forward to the next MHSRS and the endless opportunities to highlight meaningful research that makes a difference to our service members and their families while showcasing the special people that make up the USU research community."
